*Near the court Pleterhof stood one day disappeared facility, court Brinje (Brynie). The story says that the nobleman married a widow, and then came to mother-in- law to demand money. Since he did not get anything he planted the fire, but the mother-in- law, who fled with all the silver and gold jewelery was later intercepted and robbed by the nobleman.

* Middle hill (187m) is called Mayerhoff which means castle farm

PRESERVATION: destroyed in 1943 and later manufactured in house

*During the Second World War the castle was burnt down and destroyed, the damage was even greater because it was storage of gasoline

In the year 1728 castle was bought by Anton Jožef Jurič from Landstrass monestery
In the year 1827 castle was bought by Janez Pavič pl. Pfauental and sold in 1848 to his wife Marija Auersperg
In the year 1871 castle was resigned from owner Terezija Auersperg to Countess Valseki Barbo-Wachsenstein
In the year 1898 the castle was bought by dealer Karel Kavšek 
In the year 1906 it belonged to the peasants

Manor Dob (Watzenberg, Wazenberg)

BUILDING: Manor Dob (Watzenberg, Wazenberg)
FORMATION: 14th century
PRESERVATION: destroyed in 1942

*Dob (Wazenberg) knights were first mentioned in 1302. Their last family member dies in 1420
* Name Dob comes from deciduous tree of the family beech
*
On the night of 26 on December 27, 1942 the manor was looted and burned to the ground. The whole noble family who lived there were murdered  
*Locals later spent most of the stones to build their homes.
* Today, there are prisons
